The exchange unfolded as Rupar continued drawing attention to Trump’s executive assistant and her presence on the trip.
On Saturday, September 12, Rupar posted a picture of Harp smiling in a green dress and wrote, “Look who made the trip to Ireland!” He also added the hashtag #TravelWithNatalie.
Hours later, Trump’s “Rapid Response 47” account on X responded directly to the post, accusing Rupar of having a fixation on Harp.

“President Trump does, in fact, travel with staff,” the account wrote. It then turned its criticism toward Rupar, calling him a “sick, deluded freak” and accusing him of posting “creepy things like this.”
Rupar quickly responded with a sarcastic remark about his age. “I know being in my 40s makes me too old for the president but I’m at peace with it,” he wrote.

Aaron Rupar has repeatedly posted about Natalie Harp
Rupar is known for posting clipped videos of Trump and other politicians and has built a large following on X. He has described himself as a “lifelong liberal Democrat,” while The Times previously described him as “the man who watches Trump all day, every day.”

That pattern appears to have caught the attention of Trump’s social media team, which chose to directly address his latest Ireland post rather than simply ignore it.
The clash comes as Trump continues his Ireland trip and speaks publicly about his family.
During a Saturday morning speech, he joked that his wife, Melania Trump, would have liked to join him in Ireland but did not want to deal with the seven-hour flight.
“My wife is here in spirit,” Trump quipped.
