WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Friday, September 18, released a list of what he called his “top 25” accomplishments of “term three,” despite currently serving his second presidential term.

The list included his administration’s military operations against Iran, the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro, eight claimed peace deals and a range of domestic policies. Trump’s post also highlighted immigration restrictions, tariffs, tax cuts, stock market gains and the deployment of the National Guard to several US cities.

Trump’s list prominently featured his administration’s actions against Iran, claiming it had “obliterated Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity” through Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury and had acted to ensure Iran would “never” have a nuclear weapon.

Trump also listed what he described as the capture and prosecution of ousted Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro through Operation Absolute Resolve. Another entry claimed the administration had “Settled 8 raging wars with historic peace deals in our first 12 months, including the War in Gaza."

The list also included Trump’s claim that his administration had secured “the most secure border in history,” signed the Laken Riley Act and achieved what he described as the largest drop in the murder rate ever recorded.

On the economy, Trump credited his administration with signing what he called “the largest tax cuts in American History” through the Great Big Beautiful Bill, securing commitments for $19.2 trillion in new US investment and imposing tariffs including 50% duties on foreign copper, aluminium and steel and 25% tariffs on foreign automobiles.

The president also claimed the stock market had reached 80 record highs since the election and that more Americans were working than at any other point in US history.

Trump highlights domestic policies ahead of midterms

Trump’s list also included several of his administration’s social and regulatory policies. Among them, he claimed to have abolished “all discriminatory ‘Diversity, Equity, Inclusion’ (DEI) policies” across the federal government and private sector, while also stating that he had “Banned men from playing in women’s sports” and “Banned transgender ideology and critical race theory in our schools.”

Trump further claimed his administration had returned all living hostages to their families and halted all refugee admissions to the United States. He also touted the National Guard deployments to Washington, DC, Memphis and New Orleans. Trump's post, however, does not show the full wording of achievement No 12, with only its ending visible, and No 25 completely cropped in the picture he posted.

The most noteworthy claim in Trump’s post was his reference to “term three,” despite the constitutional limit on presidential elections.

The 22nd Amendment states that “no person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice.” Trump is currently serving his second and last presidential term, meaning he cannot be elected to a third term under the current constitutional rule.

The list also comes as the 2026 congressional midterm elections approach in November. Trump and Republicans are campaigning ahead of the elections, which will determine control of Congress for the following two years.
