Trump touts perfect 30/30 cognitive test score, says it's considered 'extreme intelligence'
WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Saturday, May 30, highlighted the results of his latest medical evaluation, saying he achieved a perfect score on a cognitive assessment and arguing that candidates for president and vice president should be required to undergo similar testing.
The comments shortly after the White House released a medical report stating that Trump remains in “excellent health” and is fully capable of carrying out the duties of the presidency. The remarks add to a longstanding debate over the health and mental fitness of senior political figures in the United States.
Trump boasts about his fourth consecutive perfect cognitive test
Trump said he scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on a cognitive assessment administered as part of his physical examination. He also claimed the latest result marked the fourth time he had achieved a perfect score on such an exam.
“The results of my Physical Examination, taken at Walter Reed Military Medical Center, and just released, were extremely good,” Trump wrote. “Unlike other US Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high difficulty, Cognitive Test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered ‘extreme intelligence.’”
“In fact, this is my fourth such test, all PERFECT or, 120 correct answers out of 120 questions asked! It is very rare that anyone gets a Perfect Score, especially when achieved four times in a row,” the 79-year-old POTUS said.
Medical report states Trump is in ‘excellent health’
Trump’s comments followed the release of a medical report from White House physician Dr Sean Barbabella after the president’s latest examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
According to the report, Trump underwent a series of routine evaluations covering cardiovascular health, pulmonary function, neurological performance, vision, and other health indicators. Barbabella concluded that the president remains fit to perform the responsibilities of his office. “He is fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander-in-Chief,” he wrote.

Using the examination results as a platform for a broader policy proposal, Trump argued that cognitive evaluations should become mandatory for future White House candidates.
“All people running for President and Vice President should be forced to take high difficulty Cognitive Tests,” Trump wrote. “Congress, and the Democrats, should demand it!”
The latest medical assessment provides the most recent official evaluation of Trump’s health as he approaches his 80th birthday in June and continues to emphasize his physical and cognitive fitness while in office.
