Tucker Carlson recounts bizarre ‘demon attack’ that left him with bleeding ‘claw marks’
WASHINGTON, DC: In a striking revelation, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson shared his unsettling encounter with a demon in a clip from a new documentary released on Thursday, October 31.
The incident, which occurred about a year-and-a-half ago, left him with physical scars and confused about the whole supernatural experience.

In the clip, the interviewer, John Heers, asked Tucker Carlson if he believed “the presence of evil is kickstarting people to reflect on the good".
To this, the former Fox News host responded, "That’s what happened to me."
Carlson said he was mauled by a demon. Heers asked if it happened in the "milieu of journalism".
Carlson replied, “No, in my bed at night and I got attacked while I was asleep with my wife and four dogs in the bed and mauled, physically mauled.”
“In a spiritual attack by a demon?” asked the interviewer. “Yeah, by a demon,” Carlson said.
Describing the bizarre encounter, Carlson said he first thought it was “the weirdest dream I’ve ever had", only to wake up and find blood on his sheets.
Heers asked if the attack left physical marks, Carlson affirmed, “Oh, they’re still there. Yeah, yeah, year and a half ago.”
Heers inquired if his wife was terrified, presuming that Carlson must have been frightened after the incident. But Carlson said, "I wasn’t… I was totally confused. I woke up, and I couldn’t breathe, and I thought I was going to suffocate.”
He described walking outside in a panic, then returning to find his wife and dogs still asleep, despite being light sleepers.
“I had these terrible pains on my rib cage and on my shoulder."
“I had four claw marks on either side, underneath my arm and left shoulder. And they were bleeding,” he said.
“It didn’t make any sense and it doesn’t now. No one has to believe me, I don’t care. But that happened to me,” he insisted.
In the documentary segment, which is part of a crowdfunded project titled 'Christianities' that explores diverse Christian beliefs, Carlson reflected on his background, stating, “I’m not from a, what do they call it, faith tradition that talks about things like that or even acknowledges their existence.”
After the incident, he consulted his assistant, an Evangelical Christian, who suggested it might have been a demon attack. This experience prompted Carlson, who is also open to the idea of ghosts, to begin reading the Bible.
Tucker Carlson's fascination with demons
Tucker Carlson’s account of the attack aligns with a broader narrative he has shared in the past regarding supernatural themes.
The Wall Street Journal reported that he discussed demonic possession with Russian President Vladimir Putin, asserting, “Demonic possession is real, I happen to know for a fact.”
Furthermore, during the January 6 insurrection, he texted a colleague, referring to Donald Trump as a “demonic force".
Since leaving Fox News in April, some of Carlson’s Christian supporters have speculated that “the devil” was behind his departure. Televangelist Lance Wallnau remarked, “Tucker is a casualty of [the spiritual] war. I don’t like it when the devil wins.”
However, representatives for Carlson have not responded to requests for comment regarding this extraordinary claim.
