US Military Plane With Possible Damage Lands at UK Airbase A US military aerial refueling tanker landed at an airbase in the United Kingdom on April 12, exhibiting signs of possible damage. Footage from photographer Mark Lynham shows the KC-135 Stratotanker at Royal Air Force (RAF) Mildenhall station in Suffolk, England, with numerous pieces of tape on its fuselage. Lynham said the aircraft appeared to have “patched-up shrapnel damage” but could not verify what the tape was covering.
