47–53: Senate Rejects War Powers Resolution as Fetterman Breaks with Dems, Rand Paul with GOP
The Senate just sent a loud message on President Trump’s authority over Iran — and two senators crossed party lines to do it. A War Powers resolution meant to limit Trump’s power to act on Iran failed 47–53 in the U.S. Senate. The vote mostly followed party lines, but there were two big exceptions.
