Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's Arrest Portrait Hung in the Louvre
A broadly shared portrait of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor taken after his recent arrest in Norfolk, UK, was hung in the Louvre Museum in Paris on Sunday, February 22. The campaign group “Everyone Hates Elon” shared footage of activists entering the most visited museum in the world and hanging a portrait of the former prince, with the caption “He’s sweating now, 2026,” in reference to The Sun’s headline following Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest on February 19, on suspicion of gross misconduct in public office. “They say ‘hang it in the Louvre’. So we did,” the group wrote to Instagram. The destitute prince was arrested on his 66th birthday before being released later that evening.
