British Commentator Sam Hamdi released by ICE

British journalist Sami Hamdi is set to be released after being detained by U.S. Immigration officers. He was taken into custody by ICE agents at San Francisco International Airport while visiting the country for a speaking hour, after which his visa was revoked. Officials had reported him to have overstayed his visa and have not been filed with any other criminal charges. It is to be noted that his release comes after he had accepted the U.S. government’s offer to leave the country voluntarily!
