Caine: U.S. Military Has Delivered Effects to “Destroy Iran’s Ability to Sustain Combat Operations”
Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Dan Caine said U.S. and allied forces are conducting strikes with the goal of degrading Iran’s ability to sustain combat operations, targeting command infrastructure, missile systems, air defenses, and other military assets. Caine emphasized that achieving these objectives will take time and significant effort as the campaign continues. His remarks come amid ongoing U.S. and Israeli operations against Iranian targets following recent escalations in the region, reflecting a broader strategy to diminish Tehran’s capacity to wage prolonged conflict.
