In a video recorded from her office in Washington, D.C., Beatty states that each time she attempted to voice concerns, she was muted. Despite objections not being heard, the vote was ultimately announced as unanimous. Beatty argues that because Congress created the Kennedy Center, the public and elected representatives deserve a transparent and lawful process.
