Erika Kirk has revealed that Turning Point USA is already laying the groundwork to back Vice President JD Vance if he runs for president in 2028, calling it one of the last missions her late husband, Charlie Kirk, was very direct about. Since Charlie’s tragic killing in Utah, Vance has stepped in to carry his campus tour, speak to students, and even host a tribute episode of Kirk’s podcast with members of President Trump’s administration. While Vance stresses he is focused on serving as vice president and winning the 2026 midterms, he plans to sit down with President Trump after next year’s election to discuss a possible run.
