Gas Station Filled With Burnt Vehicles Amid Cartel Crisis in Puerto Vallarta

A gas station in the Mexican city of Puerto Vallarta was filled with burnt vehicles on Tuesday, February 24, after a spate of cartel violence in the area. The violence broke out after government forces killed Nemesio Ruben Oseguera Cervantes, also known as “El Mencho,” the leader of Jalisco New Generation Cartel. Puerto Vallarta Mayor Luis Ernesto Munguia said that over 200 vehicles were burned after cartel violence broke out on Sunday, according to local news reports. This footage shows several burnt vehicles at a gas station in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on Tuesday.
