Gov. Tim Walz Attacks Kristi Noem After DHS Orders Body Cameras for ICE Agents in Minnesota
Gov. Tim Walz is not impressed with Kristi Noem’s latest move. After the Department of Homeland Security announced that all immigration officers in Minneapolis — including ICE agents — will now wear body cameras, Walz said the policy should have been in place “long before killed two Americans,” and warned that cameras alone won’t fix deeper problems in federal immigration enforcement. He then went directly after Noem, calling her “the most ill-prepared and absolutely worst choice for any Cabinet position” and slamming DHS as a “fifth-largest army in the world” that already got a massive cash infusion but is still asking “payer states” like Minnesota for more taxpayer money.
