ICE Raid in St. Paul: Elderly U.S. Citizen Dragged Outside Bare-Chested in Freezing Cold After Agents Break Down Door, Confirms He’s Citizen Only After Hours
On St Paul’s East Side, an ICE operation reportedly went after the wrong man. Armed agents broke down the door of a Hmong American family home, entered with guns drawn, and handcuffed elderly grandfather ChongLy “Scott” Thao in front of his 5-year-old grandson. Thao is a U.S. citizen with no criminal record. Family members and local outlets say he was dragged outside in sub-zero temperatures, wearing only shorts, a blanket and Crocs, then driven around, questioned, and fingerprinted before ICE finally confirmed he was a citizen and brought him back.
