Sen. Rand Paul is sounding the alarm on what he calls a refugee welfare fraud pipeline — and he’s using the Somali-linked scam revelations and COVID-era theft to make his case. Paul says we already know that during COVID, Russian hackers, Chinese hackers and Americans helped themselves to U.S. relief money. Now, with reports of massive fraud in refugee-linked programs, he argues that throwing more money at the problem just feeds the thieves.
