Karoline Leavitt: Walz & Frey “Spread Lies,” Caused Deadly Shootings Chaos in Minnesota
The White House just drew a straight line between Minnesota’s Democrat leadership and the deadly chaos on Minneapolis streets. In a fiery briefing, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Trump doesn’t want anyone killed or hurt — not Renee Good, not Alex Pretti, not federal law enforcement officers, and not Minnesotans caught in the middle. She stressed that Saturday’s shooting is under active investigation by Homeland Security Investigations and the FBI, with CBP running its own internal review. But Leavitt didn’t stop there. She squarely blamed Gov Tim Walz, Mayor Jacob Frey and other Democrats for: – Spreading “lies” about federal officers who are targeting murderers, rapists, pedophiles, human traffickers and gang members – Blocking local and state police from cooperating with ICE under sanctuary-style policies – Using their platforms to encourage left-wing agitators to stalk, record, confront and obstruct federal agents – Creating the “dangerous situations” that she says led directly to Saturday’s confrontation and shootings Leavitt called Trump the “duly-elected president… fulfilling the will of the people” by arresting and removing illegal immigrant criminals from cities like Los Angeles, New York and Minneapolis — and warned that, because of Minnesota’s resistance, two Minnesotans are now tragically dead. She said Trump has a “clear and simple path to restoring law and order” in Minnesota, outlined directly to Gov Walz on a call, and made it his “hope, wish and demand” that the resistance and chaos end today.
