Kuwait’s Public Institution For Social Security headquarters caught fire after the building was targeted by a drone strike, officials said on March 8. Footage circulating on social media shows the fire at the building. The institution confirmed that its main building, located in the capital, was targeted, resulting in material damage. The Kuwait Army said on Sunday that it continued “to engage a wave of hostile drones that have breached the country’s airspace,” and that “some civilian facilities have sustained material damage as a result of debris and shrapnel falling from the interception operations.”
