Melania Trump & Usha Vance Pack Holiday Care Kits for U.S. Troops

First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Usha Vance spent the day packing holiday care packages for service members at Joint Base Andrews. They thanked around 100 military spouses, Red Cross volunteers, and troops’ families for their dedication, with Melania praising spouses for carrying “the weight of family life.” Usha Vance called the season a time to “lift up” those who serve. Both women joined volunteers filling comfort kits with snacks and handwritten notes and Melania wrote in one card, “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year… our nation is proud of you.”
