National Parks Implement ‘America-First’ Fee Policy, Foreign Visitors to Pay $100 Extra
The U.S. Interior Department announced a major update to national park entry fees set to take effect January 1, 2026. International tourists will face a $100 surcharge to enter 11 top national parks, including iconic sites like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite. Additionally, the annual parks pass for foreign visitors will rise to $250, while U.S. residents will continue paying $80. This “America-first” fee policy aims to ensure that American taxpayers enjoy affordable access while international visitors contribute their fair share to park maintenance and improvements. Fee-free patriotic days will also be reserved for U.S. residents. The policy follows President Trump's executive order to adjust entry fees and provide preferential treatment to American visitors.
