Pete Hegseth on $200B Iran War Request: ‘It Takes Money to Kill Bad Guys’

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is not backing away from the price tag attached to the Iran war. Asked about a Washington Post report saying the Pentagon asked the White House to approve a request of more than $200 billion for Congress, Hegseth did not issue a clean denial. Instead, he said the number “could move” and then summed up the administration’s mindset with a blunt line: “It takes money to kill bad guys.”
