Police Helicopter Captures Teens Racing at 140 Miles an Hour on U.S. 95

Speeds over 120. A sparking car. Four teenagers and one massive mistake A police helicopter just caught one of the most dangerous drives of the night. Around 12:30 a.m., AIR5 spotted a sedan racing on U.S. 95 near Charleston at speeds between 120 and 140 miles an hour. The driver weaved through traffic, passed cars on the shoulder, and sparks were seen coming from the vehicle. Police tracked the car to the I-15 southbound ramp, where officers pulled it over. Behind the wheel was an 18-year-old showing signs of impairment. Three other teens, ages 16 to 18, were also inside.
