Rep. Al Green Once Again Escorted Out After Protesting Trump’s Primetime Speech

Rep. Al Green was again ejected from President Trump’s yearly address to Congress after protesting the primetime speech inside the chamber. During a joint session that was supposed to focus on the president’s message to the country, Green’s protest cut through the script and, just like before, ended with him being escorted out of the House chamber as the address resumed without him.
