Satirical Titanic-Themed Statue of Trump and Epstein Pops Up in DC
A satirical statue inspired by the blockbuster ‘Titanic’ and depicting late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and US President Donald Trump was erected outside the US Capitol in DC on Tuesday, March 10. Video from Alexander Howard shows the statue, titled ‘The King of the World,’ of Trump embracing Epstein on the bow of a boat, mimicking the poster of the 1997 movie, in which character Jack Dawson embraces Rose DeWitt Buckater. A descriptive sign on the side of the sculpture reads, “The tragic love story between Jack and Rose was built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches.” “This monument honors the bond between Donald Trump and Jeffrey epstein, a friendship seemingly built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches.” A poster that reads, “Make America safe again” was propped near the art piece. The statue was erected at the National Mall, steps away from the US Capitol and the Washington Monument.
