Still-hopeful New York Knicks fans burned sage outside Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, June 9, after the team’s Game 3 loss to the San Antonio Spurs the night before. Footage taken by Kazeem Famuyide shows the ritual in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon. “All Knicks fans meet me in front of MSG at 1:30 pm and bring your sage,” Famuyide posted on X. “We gotta clean this b*h out before Wednesday.” The Knicks fell to the Spurs 115-111 on Monday, and would face off at MSG again Wednesday night before heading back to Texas for Game 5.
