Deputies Arrest Roommate of USF Doctoral Student Found D*ad Deputies in Florida announced they had arrested the roommate of a missing University of South Florida (USF) student whose remains were recovered on Friday, April 24. Zamil Limon, along with fellow USF doctoral student Nahida Bristy, were reported missing on April 16. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HSCO), deputies recovered the remains of 27-year-old Limon in the area surrounding the Howard Frankland Bridge. Footage shows Limon’s roommate, Hisham Abugharbieh, being taken into custody as a person of interest from a residence in Lutz. HSCO said deputies responded to an “unrelated domestic violence incident involving Abugharbieh,” who proceeded to barricade himself inside the residence before eventually surrendering. Abugharbieh was charged with unlawfully holding or moving a dead human body in unapproved conditions; failure to report death to medical examiner or law enforcement (intent to conceal); tampering with physical evidence; false imprisonment; and battery. Bristy remains a missing person, deputies said. “We are still actively searching for Nahida,” HCSO Chief Deputy Joseph Maurer said during a press conference Friday. #USF #USFStudent #ZamilLimon #NahidaBristy #FloridaNews #TampaNews #HillsboroughCounty #MissingPerson #CrimeNews #BreakingNews #HowardFranklandBridge #LutzFlorida #HCSO
