Horror Moment Train Strikes Septic Truck, Seriously Injuring Driver A trainspotter wanting to catch a glimpse of a locomotive traveling through Chesapeake, Virginia, on Thursday, May 14, captured the horror moment a truck was hit by the train, leaving the motorist with life-threatening injuries. Azuriah O’Daniel told Storyful he was by the tracks to take videos and photos of the train when the incident occurred. “I’ve been watching trains since I was about seven to eight years old, and I think that is by far the wildest thing I’ve ever seen being trackside.” Footage recorded by O’Daniel shows the truck passing through the intersection and into the path of the train. The train driver blares its horns as it approaches, before ramming into the truck’s tank, sending it spinning as it spews a green substance into the air.
