he Mavericks singer and frontman Raul Malo has died. He was 60. Malo died on Monday, Dec. 8 after he was diagnosed with cancer. In September 2025, he had revealed that he was fighting LMD, or leptomeningeal disease, a cancer that affects the brain and spinal cord Rest in Peace.
