Traffic Camera Captures Two Cars Falling Into Sinkhole at Omaha Intersection; No One Was Hurt

Traffic camera footage from Omaha looks like something out of a disaster movie. Police say the roadway at 67th & Pacific St. suddenly collapsed, creating a sinkhole just east of the intersection and sending two vehicles tumbling in. Chief Todd Schmaderer thanked the community, saying he’s “always impressed by Omaha citizens helping each other out.” Police called the helpers good neighbors who made a dangerous situation much safer. Officials are asking everyone to avoid the area around 67th & Pacific St. The road has collapsed and the sinkhole is still being handled by city crews.
