Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent Says U.S. Economy Outpacing Europe With 4.1% Growth

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said the U.S. economy has posted roughly 4.1% growth over the past three quarters, far outpacing Europe’s reported 0.3% growth. Bessent credited current economic policies for accelerating growth despite prolonged government shutdowns and said the administration is working to reverse what he called years of high inflation that hit working families hardest.
