U.S. Military Launches Strike on Narco-Te**orist Network in Joint Operation With Ecuador

U.S. Southern Command (#SOUTHCOM) Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan directed joint U.S. forces to assist Ecuadorian troops in lethal kinetic operations against Designated Terr*rist Organizations in Ecuador on March 6. The mission targeted narcote*rorist groups that have blurred the line between d*ug cartels and organized te*ror, fueling vio*ence, kidna*pings and instability across the region. In coordination with Ecuador’s armed forces, U.S. elements helped support strikes on key targets as part of a broader push to roll back narco-te*ror networks in the Western Hemisphere.
