When asked about his past statements and whether there was any hesitation over the administration’s current Iran operation, Vance did not duck. He went straight at the reporter, said the U.S. now has a “smart president” instead of the “dumb presidents” of the past, and accused the media of trying to manufacture division between him and President Trump.
