Adam Schiff just zeroed in on one of the most uncomfortable questions a judicial nominee can face: have you actually led a case in court? During the Senate Judiciary Committee’s nominations hearing, Schiff pressed a Trump judicial nominee over his limited trial background. Schiff asked if he had ever tried a case to verdict.
