White House Press Secretary Defends ICE Agent, Criticizes Media Coverage of Minneapolis Shooting

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt sharply defended the ICE agent involved in the fatal Minneapolis shooting and accused Democrats and major media outlets of misrepresenting the incident “from the very beginning.” Leavitt asserted that newer footage shows the officer was struck by the vehicle and characterized the victim as attempting to use her car as a weapon.
