"My friend Mandy and I, we took some mushrooms, I think I was 16, at her house and we starting watching Comic Relief."

"This is how long ago it was - people don't even know what that is - Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal were hosting it," Christina confessed to the 'Armchair Expert' podcast host.

She added: "We were laughing so hard that we kept calling on the dial phone to use her dad's credit card to donate money and we did this all night long and we spent like hundreds of dollars and we got in really big trouble."

When Dax followed up with questions about whether Christina had tried using mushrooms to treat her multiple sclerosis, she said, "Drugs are not for me," adding that she had "that brain that (is) like take me out of right this moment, I'm gonna go cuckoo town."

Christina acknowledged, however, that she had attempted to smoke pot to cope with her discomfort before receiving an MS diagnosis in 2021. The actress declared that it was "not a good move" and that she "smoked it like you would at 15."

"I was alone in my room and I called (my mum), I said, 'What the hell did you give me?' And she said, 'How much did you have?' and I said, 'Like half of it', she goes, 'Oh my God'. This is why I haven't smoked pot since I was 15," Christina said.

Elsewhere in the podcast, Christina admitted that she is fighting multiple sclerosis and that she has more than 30 lesions on her brain.

Christina revealed to Dax: "I have 30 lesions on my brain. My biggest one is behind my right eye, so my right eye hurts a lot."

She called it "the worst thing that's ever happened to me in my entire life" and claimed it's giving her a great deal of suffering. "I hate it so much, and I'm so mad about it."

Fortunately, her vision has not yet been affected by the lesion. She has experienced further MS side effects, though, as her movement has been severely limited, per TMZ.

Christina said, "My hand starts to go weird and then I’ll get a seizure-y feeling sometimes in my brain."

People often ask Christina why she doesn't exercise, to which she responds with frustration that the pain is so great that "you can't overcome it."
