NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene took to the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to call out New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron and Attorney General Letitia James after Donald Trump's bond amount was massively reduced on Monday, March 25.

An appeals court in the city set the new value for securing bond at $175 million to be paid within 10 days, according to AP News. If Trump manages to do so, it will stop the state from seizing his assets during his appeals.

The former President had also slammed Judge Engoron over Truth Social, which Greene shared in her post on X.

Posting a screengrab of Trump's social media rant following the reduction of his bond amount, the US Representative for Georgia wrote, "Today marks the 5th time Judge Engoron has been overruled in the Joe Biden-directed hoax brought against President Trump and his family by corrupt New York Attorney General Letitia James."

"Judge Engoron arbitrarily ruled that the world class Mar-a-Lago Club, which sits on the most premier location in Palm Beach County on 20 BEAUTIFUL waterfront acres built out in spectacular fashion, is worth only $18 Million. As one of the most exclusive clubs in the world, Mar-a-lago’s value is far more than real estate and buildings, it’s one of many extremely successful Trump businesses, which sets its value extremely high!"

"This is a Democrat activist judge weaponizing his bench to help fulfill Tish James’ campaign promise to get President Trump," she continued. "Also in the crosshairs, Eric and Don Jr, who are completely innocent! They aren’t just after Trump and his family, they are after every Trump supporter across the country, the Trump family is just standing in their way."

"We will not stop fighting to end this gross weaponization of our justice system and we will re-elect President Trump in November in historic fashion!" exclaimed Greene, adding, "President Trump, his sons, and his entire family are INNOCENT!"

Internet reacts to Marjorie Taylor Greene's post

Netizens called out MTG's take over the events, as the following tweets demonstrate.

"He still owes the $464 million. Just the bond was lowered, not the judgment," wrote a user.

"Your intellect fails you again Madge. There is no overrule. The judgement stands. He simply has been given a discount on the cost of the bond. But don’t let the truth get in the way of your fairytale," stated another.

"Florida taxpayers like your logic. It’s time assess Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property at 1.5 billion dollars and raise Donald Trump’s property taxes appropriately to the assessment," jibed a third.

"It was to only appeal the bond amount to appeal the case, not the case itself. All cases are into him for approximately 272.6 million in bonds just so he can appeal. When he loses them he gets none of it back, including the fees and has to pay the full amount of what's left. I would not be celebrating just yet as the 464 million judgment still stands collecting interest and will be fully applied if he loses the appeal," explained a fourth.

"Imagine your representative that you elected works harder for the former potus than her constituents? Imagine no more," chided a fifth, while another said, "Margie! You love crime and criminal activity!"
