Ryan Gosling reveals his children disliked Eva Mendes on 'Bluey' as they thought it was going to be huge
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are surprised to learn that their celebrity status holds little sway in the eyes of their young daughters.
Despite their acclaimed careers in Hollywood, the 'Barbie' actor admitted that to his children, Esmeralda Amada and Amada Lee, he and Mendes are just their parents.

Ryan Gosling says his children 'don't care' about their parents being stars
Speaking about his daughters' indifference to their celebrity status, Gosling said, “They don't care,” according to People.
Recalling the moment they watched 'Bluey', the ABC Kids animated hit their daughters loved, Gosling said, “Eva was on an episode of 'Bluey.' We both thought it was going to be huge."
Referring to the 2021 episode in which the actress voiced a yoga instructor, Gosling said his two children "didn't like it."
"They were like, ‘Fast-forward through that part!’” he added.
Ryan Gosling says his children have a 'no fire' policy about his films
When it came to risky stunts in his new movie 'The Fall Guy' in which Gosling stars and produces, he faced resistance from his daughters.
Despite his eagerness to execute his own stunts in the action comedy film, his children exercised their veto power, particularly against any action or scene involving fire.
“My kids didn't want me to be set on fire. They were like, ‘No. No fire.’ So I didn't do it," said the actor.
Echoing similar sentiments, Emily Blunt, who stars alongside Gosling in 'The Fall Guy' said children "don't want you to be anything other than their parent."

Referring to her young daughters Hazel, nine, and Violet, seven, who she shares with husband John Krasinski, the 'Oppenheimer' star said, “They've only seen Jungle Cruise once because they don't love watching me on screen."
"Which I understand because I'm their mommy and it's very strange to see me play someone else," she continued.
“They didn't like the underwater stuff where I'm trapped and I'm in peril. They left the room," she added.
Ryan Gosling says he makes decisions about his roles with his 'family in mind first'
Explaining how he avoids “roles that are going to put me in some kind of dark place” as he prioritizes his family's well-being, Gosling said, “We make (decisions) with our family in mind first."
Mendes previously spoke about her break from acting for several years, she said, "I have such a short list of what I will do."
