WASHINGTON, DC: President Donald Trump on Wednesday, April 2, declared a national economic emergency and announced tariffs starting at 10 percent on all countries trading with the United States during a Rose Garden ceremony on 'Liberation Day'.

The POTUS described it as "kind reciprocal" tariffs on nations he claimed were the worst offenders in trade relations with the US, per ABC News.
