WASHINGTON, DC: If there’s one hiccup that truly tests Donald Trump’s patience, it’s a conference call gone dead. So, when his scheduled conference call with American faith leaders faced a storm of technical issues, AT&T was compelled to face the president’s wrath.

On Monday, June 30, the 79-year-old commander-in-chief asked the “boss of AT&T” to get involved in the issue after claiming that the country’s third-largest wireless carrier was "unable to make their equipment work properly," which caused the conference call to be delayed.

“I’m doing a major Conference Call with Faith Leaders from all over the Country, and AT&T is totally unable to make their equipment work properly. This is the second time it’s happened,” the president complained on Truth Social.

“If the Boss of AT&T, whoever that may be, could get involved — It would be good. There are tens of thousands of people on the line!” he continued.

Moments later, Trump apologized to faith leaders “for the long wait” as he ordered AT&T to “get its act together.”

“Please pass along the word to the tens of thousands of people who are there. We may have to reschedule the call, but we’ll use another carrier the next time. AT&T obviously doesn’t know what they’re doing!” the MAGA leader declared.

About an hour later, AT&T responded to the issue after White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt shared a screenshot of the president's Truth Social complaint on her X (formerly Twitter) account.

“We’ve reached out to the White House and are working to quickly understand and assess the situation,” the company commented.
