125K-person crowd erupts as man leads 'Happy Birthday' chant for Trump at White House UFC event
WASHINGTON, DC: The White House has hosted state dinners, diplomatic summits, and presidential celebrations over the years. On Sunday, however, it transformed into the world's most unlikely fight arena, where mixed martial arts professionals exchanged hits and fists in front of a massive crowd.
The White House, for the first time in history, hosted United Fighting Championship bouts in an event dubbed UFC Freedom 250, marking the nation's 250th anniversary and coinciding with President Donald Trump's 80th birthday.
The event saw an army of nearly 125,000 spectators navigate through mazes of security barriers to watch the event in the shadow of the Washington Monument on the Ellipse.
The videos from the historic event have already taken the internet by storm.
Once such a video is capturing attention online, showing a crowd erupting into cheers after a man spontaneously launched into a rendition of 'Happy Birthday' for Trump, who became the oldest sitting president in history.

The clip, filmed from within the crowd, shows thousands of attendees gathered across the South Lawn and the Ellipse during the historic event.
As Trump made his way to White House balcony with UFC chief Dana White, the man began singing, and those around him quickly joined in before the celebration spread through the crowd.
