‘A privilege I’ll never forget’: Sabrina Carpenter thanks Madonna for joining her Coachella set
INDIO, CALIFORNIA: Sabrina Carpenter is still soaking in the magic of Coachella weekend two after one unforgettable moment stole the show: Madonna stepping on stage beside her.
Speaking about the performance on Saturday, April 18, Carpenter shared just how much the moment meant to her, especially getting to share the stage with one of music’s biggest icons.
Sabrina Carpenter calls Madonna Coachella moment a ‘dream’ come true
Sabrina Carpenter took to social media after her Coachella weekend two set to thank Madonna for joining her on stage, and her words said it all.
“Madonna … I’ve got something I wanna talk about! thank you for coming out, bringing your love, and gracing the audience with everything you are + astrology knowledge + the greatest songs of all time,” she wrote.
She added, “Last night was straight out of a dream. spending so much time laughing with you and then above all sharing the stage with you is a privilege I’ll never forget.”

Madonna stuns crowd with surprise appearance during Sabrina Carpenter set
The energy at Coachella shifted the second Madonna appeared on stage during Carpenter’s performance of ‘Juno.’
Right at the song’s iconic pose moment, the track transitioned into Madonna’s ‘Vogue,’ sending the crowd into a frenzy.
The two pop stars performed the 1990 classic together, creating a moment that felt both nostalgic and fresh at the same time.
It didn’t stop there - the pair also appeared to perform an unreleased track, believed to be part of Madonna’s upcoming project.

As the set continued, Madonna closed with ‘Like a Prayer,’ but not before taking a moment to reflect on the significance of being back at Coachella.
“20 years ago today I performed at Coachella — I was at the dance tent,” she told the crowd.
“It was the first time I performed Confessions from the dancefloor. Same boots, same corsets… it’s like a full circle moment.”
She also added an unexpected touch, bringing astrology into the mix. “I also want to point out it’s the new moon of Taurus. Seven planets lined up in Aries… avoid confrontations. In all circumstances — for the rest of the month — let’s try to get along, let’s try to be together, let’s try to avoid disagreements.”
Carpenter quickly played along, saying, “She’s pointing to me because I’m a Taurus."
Star-studded set makes Sabrina Carpenter’s weekend two stand out
Madonna’s appearance wasn’t the only moment that had people talking.
Carpenter’s weekend two set turned into one of the most star-packed performances of the festival.
Geena Davis also appeared for a spoken word monologue, continuing the cinematic theme Carpenter introduced earlier.

The cameo mirrored Susan Sarandon’s appearance from weekend one, creating a sense of continuity across both performances.
Actor Terry Crews joined in as well, adding a lighter moment to the set as he referenced his iconic role in ‘White Chicks’ and even sang a bit of ‘A Thousand Miles.’
Compared to weekend one, which leaned more on actor cameos, the second weekend felt bigger, louder, and more musically driven, with Madonna’s presence taking it to another level entirely.
