MIAMI, FLORIDA: A late-night 911 call has revealed new details about the emergency involving celebrity blogger Perez Hilton at his Miami home.

Dispatch records, accessed by Page Six on Wednesday, August 5, show authorities received a report shortly before 11 pm Tuesday and quickly sent police and fire units to the property.

The response was treated as an “active police scene,” with officers eventually entering the home and Hilton being taken to a hospital for medical care.

Chilling 911 call details revealed

The urgency of the situation is apparent from the dispatch traffic.

At 10:41 pm, a call came in concerning Hilton at his Miami residence.

Police units were sent to the address, with fire crews also responding as authorities dealt with what dispatch described as an active scene. Additional units were told to remain available.

The audio contains details about the alleged self-harm incident.

What followed was a prolonged police response at the property. Around 11 pm, dispatch indicated that officers had entered the home.

Surveillance footage from outside the residence also showed law enforcement vehicles arriving as authorities attempted to make contact with Hilton.

In one recording, a deputy can be heard identifying the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.

The Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office later provided an update on the incident, saying deputies had responded after receiving multiple calls from people concerned about someone allegedly livestreaming acts of self-harm on social media.

The sheriff’s office reportedly said its Crisis Response Unit and licensed mental health professionals were also assisting the family.

Hilton's seemingly normal online life

The emergency came after a period in which Hilton had continued appearing active on social media.

Some of his recent posts had a notably different tone from the disturbing material that ultimately prompted calls to authorities.

Hilton had recently shared videos discussing his Christian faith and passages from the Bible.

In another post, he spoke about Ariana Grande stepping away from the spotlight and ended by sending supportive wishes to people who might be struggling.

Those posts have drawn renewed attention following the Miami incident, although they do not necessarily provide a clear indication of what Hilton may have been experiencing privately.

Hilton built his public profile through celebrity gossip coverage in the early 2000s, becoming known for his often provocative commentary about Hollywood stars before expanding into television and other entertainment ventures.
