Extensive damage has been reported in Pensacola, including an inn whose roof was torn off by hurricane-force winds. Footage captured from a nearby radio station showed the roof being ripped apart as the storm battered the area.

The storm's powerful winds damaged buildings, brought down trees and power lines, and contributed to widespread outages across the region.
Flooding and power outages add to Hurricane Isaias damage
Beyond structural damage, Isaias brought significant flooding to parts of the Florida Panhandle. FOX Weather reported flooding in Fort Walton Beach, where water levels reached 2 to 3 feet in some areas shortly after the storm struck.
More than 760,000 customers across the Southeast were without power at one point as the hurricane moved inland, according to the outlet's live coverage. The outages affected communities across Florida, Alabama and Georgia.
Heavy rainfall also raised concerns about flash flooding as the storm's remnants moved farther inland. Even after Isaias weakened from a hurricane into a post-tropical system, the threat of flooding and tornadoes continued across parts of the Southeast.
Recovery efforts are underway across the affected areas as residents, local officials and utility crews assess damage and work to restore services. At least 35 Florida state parks and associated overnight accommodations across the Panhandle and Big Bend were closed as officials evaluated storm damage and cleared debris.
The aerial footage from Pensacola adds to the growing picture of Isaias' impact across the Gulf Coast, as communities continue to assess losses and begin the recovery process.
