Alec Baldwin’s daughter Ireland announces second pregnancy with boyfriend RAC
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ireland Baldwin, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, is preparing to welcome her second child with boyfriend RAC.
The 30-year-old announced the pregnancy in a playful joint Instagram post shared on Friday, May 23. The reveal quickly drew attention from fans as the couple shared a sweet family-themed montage featuring sonogram photos and baby items.

The sweet social media reel showed the couple adding a newborn onesie next to a pair of toddler pajamas and a baby bottle next to a sipper cup in their dining room setup. The video also showed them pushing away a bottle of wine.
The end of the heartwarming montage featured Ireland holding a strip of sonogram photos in the doorway of their dining room. The pair simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji.
The 30-year-old actress later shared another playful video showing her in a pink hoodie as text on the clip read, “me after the worst stomach flu of my life.”
She then slowly unzipped her hoodie before saying, “Nevermind, I’m pregnant.”
Ireland became a mother for the first time in May 2023 after welcoming daughter Holland.
Ireland Baldwin celebrates motherhood while preparing for second child
A year later, Ireland celebrated her first Mother’s Day by sharing photos of her daughter and writing, “Thank you for making me a momma! You changed my life and everything I have ever known.”
“I don’t know why I’m making this post out to you because a) you can’t read yet and b) instagram will probably be a distant memory by the time you can, but I am so proud to have made you!!!” she added at the time.
However, the model has also been candid about the challenges that come with motherhood.
“I'm not going to lie... there have been moments where I have been so overwhelmed by all of the changes... but overall, things have been beautiful,” Ireland said during an earlier Instagram Q&A.
“She's so much fun to spend time with and figure out. I would say most of the stress I've experienced lately has actually had nothing to do with her. Being overtired just makes it all worse,” she added.
Ireland Baldwin reflects on growing up with famous parents
Ireland has also spoken openly about her childhood while growing up as the child of two famous parents.
On her Substack page, the daughter of the 68-year-old actor and Basinger, 72, wrote, “I grew up without two parents in my home and no siblings to turn to. I had a lonely childhood at times, which is why I grew up feeling like I needed to win over certain people in my own family.”
“For whatever reason, their validation and praise was meaningful to me,” she shared.
