LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alec Baldwin is under renewed scrutiny after his notorious 2007 voicemail to daughter Ireland Baldwin resurfaced online coinciding with her decision to exclude him from a Father’s Day tribute.

The resurfaced audio, in which Baldwin berated his then-11-year-old daughter as a “rude, thoughtless little pig,” has triggered renewed backlash across social platforms, reports The Daily Mail.

Originally recorded amid Baldwin’s bitter custody battle with ex-wife Kim Basinger, the voicemail went viral again this week, circulating widely on Instagram and TikTok.

The resurgence comes after Ireland, now 28, posted a heartfelt Father’s Day message to her partner RAC and his father, pointedly omitting any reference to her own dad.

The disturbing clip features Baldwin unloading an explosive rant over a missed phone call.

“I'm leaving this message with you to tell you that you have insulted me for the last time. You don’t have the brains or the decency as a human being,” he tells his daughter.

“I don’t give a damn that you’re 12 years old or 11 years old or that you’re a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the ass who doesn’t care about what you do, as far as I’m concerned.”

Baldwin added, “I'm gonna fly out there for the day, just to straighten your a** out."

"I’m going to really make sure you get it … I’ll let you know how I really feel about what a thoughtless little pig you are. You are a rude little pig, okay?”

Baldwin told Ireland that her decision not to keep her phone on, knowing he would be calling, left him feeling deeply hurt and embarrassed. He admitted it made him feel “like s***” and completely “humiliated.”

While Baldwin issued an apology back in 2007, attributing his tone to the emotional toll of his custody battle and claiming years of parental alienation. At the time, he stated, “I’m sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now.”

He said, “You have to go through this to understand. (Although I hope you never do.) I am sorry for what happened. Everyone who knows me privately knows that certain people will go to any lengths to embarrass me and to disrupt my relationship with my daughter.”

Baldwin and his wife Hilaria, 41, are raising a household of seven young kids. Their daughters include Carmen, 11, Maria, 4, and little Ilaria, who’s just 2. They also have four sons, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, and Eduardo “Edu” Pao Lucas, who’s also 4.

In the infamous recording, Baldwin is heard angrily calling his daughter a “rude, thoughtless little pig,” prompting widespread criticism at the time.

One user posted, “You can see why she maybe doesn’t answer the phone!”

Another wrote, “If an 11 year old can humiliate you, that's not the kid, that’s a you problem.”

Many called the message outright abusive, “Wow…..this is some abuse. Who TF does he think he is?”

“'How do you have this much beef with an 11-year-old?” one user asked.

Another user shared a personal take, “If my daughter’s father left a message for her like this when she was 11… I would be in prison.”

Other users claimed the call was clear sign that the Hollywood star was a narcissist, saying, “And this narcissistic example is exactly the reason why I don’t allow my 6-year-old daughter to have contact with her narcissist father.” 

“Um. That’s abuse. No child should have to meet with a parent like that,” one user lamented.
