Hilaria Baldwin reveals she and Alec Baldwin 'fought a lot' during rocky patch in marriage
In the book, Hilaria Baldwin revealed that she and Alec Baldwin hit a rough patch before and after the birth of their second child, Rafael, in June 2015.

During that time, Alec frequently traveled for work, leaving her alone in New York with their infant daughter Carmen and their dogs.
She wrote, "We fought a lot," and recalled being frustrated when Alec took work calls and answered emails during her labor.
"It really pissed me off, and I didn't hesitate to tell him so," Hilaria shared in the memoir.

After Rafael’s premature birth, Alec Baldwin returned to work immediately, which left Hilaria "fuming" and feeling "disrespected," Page Six reported
"That year was probably the rockiest for us, and not just in terms of juggling a baby and a toddler," she wrote.
"I was so focused on how I thought things should be, and Alec was so set in his ways. Neither one of us would budge," the 41-year-old added.
"I took my rings off as a sign that I was potentially ready to walk," she admitted.
Despite the conflict, the couple stayed together and later welcomed five more children. In 2017, they renewed their vows for their fifth wedding anniversary.

Alec Baldwin recalls prenup talk with Hilaria Baldwin
The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, previously reflected on another early challenge in their marriage during the premiere of their reality show 'The Baldwins'.
Alec shared that he brought up a prenuptial agreement because of his experience with his first marriage to Kim Basinger.
“After my first marriage, I said, ‘Let’s have a prenup,’” the 'It's Complicated' actor said during a sit-down interview. “She wasn’t happy about it.”
Hilaria admitted the conversation was “awkward” for her, before adding, “But I don’t actually quite understand what a prenup is. Because you’re like, ‘After a certain number of kids, it’s this.’” per The Sun.
“I was like, ‘You know what? I’ll just sign it,’” she recalled. “Which was probably very stupid of me back then.”
She also noted that if faced with the same decision now, “I would read it again.” Ultimately, the couple decided not to go forward with a prenup.

In the memoir, Hilaria also touched on the controversy surrounding her background and accent. She referred to the backlash as a “devastating reality.”
She also discussed how she and Alec handled the tragic aftermath of the 'Rust' shooting, although details from that section were not disclosed in the preview.
