LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In a recent episode of Fox News' 'The Five,' Jessica Tarlov, the lone Democrat on the panel, challenged co-host Jesse Watters' assertions regarding President Biden's coalition, leading Watters to reconsider his stance.

Watters had initially criticized Biden for hiring new pollsters, claiming that his "coalition was collapsing".

He asserted, "His coalition is absolutely collapsing. He is tied with Hispanics. He's tied with young voters and he's only winning 68% of Blacks. That is an absolute catastrophe."

A closer look at Tarlov's insight and the implications for Biden's campaign strategy

However, Tarlov pointed out that recent polling data from Real Clear Politics actually showed Biden leading by one point against Donald Trump. Watters humorously responded, "Uh oh. I'm about to fire my pollster."

The revelation prompted co-host Greg Gutfeld to caution against prematurely predicting Biden's demise, advising a pause on such "feel good" stories.

Dana Perino suggested that Biden's decision to bring in new polling experts, including Geoff Garin, Jefrey Pollock, Molly Murphy, and Brenda Lee, may stem from dissatisfaction with current polling results.

Tarlov clarified that the new pollsters were not replacing the existing team but rather bringing in specialized expertise in areas where Biden's numbers have been softer. She emphasized the importance of having specialists in Latino and Black voter demographics, calling it a smart strategy.

According to Tarlov, these specialists will provide Biden with a broader range of information and expand his advisory team, which she believes will be beneficial moving forward.

Mixed reactions and criticisms towards Tarlov's assessment of Biden's coalition

Amidst the discussion surrounding Jessica Tarlov's analysis of recent polling data on Fox News' "The Five," there was a spectrum of reactions and criticisms from viewers.

One user wrote, "Jessica is totally LOST!"

Another commented, "At this point it’s ridiculous if anyone seriously thinks this man is fit to be president…"

One user said, "Don’t count your chickens before they’re elected! Get out and VOTE!!"

Another replied, "Why is Jessica always in denial."

one said, "How does Jessica sleep at night with all that lying?"

Another added, "Jessica, where was that mentality about hearing from more than two people when it came to Fauci and Covid? If anyone disagreed with him the Dems were first to defend him."
