BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: Actress Amanda Seales has sparked controversy by claiming that the recent assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump was "staged".

The 78-year-old Trump survived the attempt on his life after a bullet missed him by less than an inch during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13, Saturday.

The incident resulted in the death of Corey Comperatore, the retired fire chief of Buffalo Township, and left two others critically injured.

Amanda Seales mocks Donald Trump's fist pump after shooting

Amanda Seales, known for her role in HBO's 'Insecure', posted a video full of outrageous conspiracy theories about the shooting.

"That s**t was more staged than a Tyler Perry production of Madea Runs for President," Seales declared. "I lived in Harlem long enough to know that gunshots do not sound like making popcorn on the stove."

Video footage captured the harrowing moment the shooter opened fire, causing Trump to drop to the floor as four Secret Service agents raced to protect him. The dramatic images showed Trump cowering on the ground with blood dripping down his cheek.

"Where did the blood come from? So in theater, in movies they have what's called blood pellets. People use them for Halloween," Seales speculated. "It's basically a pellet of fake blood that's in your mouth and when you crush it the blood comes out."

"To be frank, small hands Trump would not respond by raising his fist in the air triumphantly if an actual attempt was made on his life. This was, I believe, done to try to show his strength as a counter to Biden's fragility."

In related news, Jacqueline Marsaw, a staff member of Mississippi Congressman Bennie G Thompson, was fired after making a disturbing social media post about the incident.

Marsaw, 61, who served as the field director for Thompson and held leadership roles in the local NAACP chapter in Natchez, Mississippi, posted on Facebook: "I don't condone violence but please get some shooting lessons so you don't miss next time ooops that wasn't me talking."

The post drew significant backlash from Republicans across the country. Marsaw has since deleted her post and her account, but screenshots have continued to circulate online, as per DailyMail.

Congressman Thompson responded, saying, "I was made aware of a post made by a staff member and she is no longer in my employment."
