Amy Robach refuses to return to 'GMA' without TJ Holmes a year after they got fired over secret affair
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former 'Good Morning America' co-host Amy Robach stated she has no intentions of going back to the show without her partner, TJ Holmes, during the Tuesday, February 13 episode of their podcast, 'Amy & TJ'.
It has been over a year since they were fired from the show after the news of their affair leaked in November 2022, according to The US Sun.

TJ Holmes asked the hypothetical question of a possible return 'GMA' to Amy Robach
Holmes conjectured on the Tuesday episode, "A call comes from Disney today. They want you (Robach) back in the same capacity you were in previously. How long do you need to decide to call them back?"
"The first person I would call would be you," responded Robach, adding, "I would need to know what the job was." Her co-host interjected, "Same thing. Same capacity. Exact same role."
Robach proceeded to ask if the call to rejoin ABC was for the both of them, to which Holmes answered that it was just for her.

"Then the answer would be no. That wouldn't take me long at all," asserted Robach.
Her co-host then followed up with a different scenario in which both of them were offered to rejoin 'GMA3', asking if her answer would be different in such a scenario.
Robach answered, "I would need to discuss it with you and we would need at least 24 hours to think about that."
ABC noted it would be best for Amy Robach and TJ Holmes to 'move on' from the network
Robach and Holmes, who were regular hosts of the third hour of 'Good Morning America', initially went on a hiatus from the ABC show after the Daily Mail leaked photographs from their alleged romantic rendezvous back in November 2022.
At the time, both were married to different people - Robach to actor Andrew Shue and Holmes to Marilee Fiebig.
The duo was permanently let go from the network on January 27, 2023, as an official statement from ABC read, "After several productive conversations with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about different options, we all agreed it’s best for everyone that they move on from ABC News."
It further said, "We recognize their talent and commitment over the years and are thankful for their contributions."
After taking some time off, the couple launched their podcast, 'Amy & TJ' in November 2023.
