Angelina Jolie’s realtor clears air around rumors Madonna bought her Los Feliz estate for $24M
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Angelina Jolie’s realtor has debunked rumors that Madonna was the buyer of the actress' historic Los Feliz estate.
Jolie reportedly sold her property in September for $24.75 million after listing it for $29.85 million in May.

On Thursday, October 8, the 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' star's realtor Ernie Carswell, who co-listed her property, cleared the air around the sale of the 11,000-square-foot Los Feliz home and its new buyer.
Before Jolie, who bought it for $24.5 million in 2017, the property belonged to legendary filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille.
While appearing on ‘The Society Group’s Real Talk’ show, Carswell said, “That’s not true ... It’s fun to see certain arms of the press kind of flop around. They’re so anxious to just get a name and when we sign a non-disclosure agreement, protecting the buyer’s privacy, we do not utter a word and give any clues.”
“So, in the absence of giving a clue, they kind of pulled something out of the air that’s not true,” he added.

Carswell's clarification came after Robb Report claimed that the ‘Queen of Pop’ was the new owner of the property, which features six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, along with a guesthouse, pool house, gym, tea house and detached garage.
The estate also includes a mahogany-paneled dining room, a step-down living room and a library.
An August New York Post report claimed that Madonna virtually toured the property after expressing interest in it.
Citing an insider, the report said, “Madonna’s people called up and the tour was arranged,” adding that the locality is a “wonderful colony in the upper Hollywood Hills with a lot of celebrity power.”
A broker reportedly added that celebrities love the area because “it’s quiet and inaccessible. There are no tour buses up there, and there’s a sneaky way to get down to Sunset without going through Laurel Canyon.”
Angelina Jolie bought the Los Feliz estate after separating from Brad Pitt
Jolie purchased the house months after filing for divorce from Brad Pitt. At the time, she had reportedly said that she would leave Los Angeles when her children grew up.
The 51-year-old is the mother of six children, three adopted and three biological, whom she shares with Pitt. Their names are Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne.
Knox and Vivienne turned 18 earlier this year.
