Anne Hathaway gets emotional over 'The Odyssey'-inspired gift for her third baby: 'This is epic'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Anne Hathaway, who will be seen as Queen Penelope in Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Odyssey’, got the princess treatment recently as she was promoting the upcoming epic fantasy action film.
The actress, who is pregnant with her third child, appeared on the ‘Today’ show along with her co-star Tom Holland on Thursday, July 16.
Anne Hathaway gets surprise gift from Craig Melvin
As they were discussing the movie, releasing on Friday, Hathaway was presented with a very sweet surprise that left her in tears. 'The Devil Wears Prada' star was given a special 'The Odyssey'-inspired baby gift, which came with a hand-knitted Trojan outfit, by the show’s co-host Craig Melvin.
Melvin also told Hathaway, who already shares two sons with her husband Adam Shulman, “We wanted to celebrate you and celebrate your bun there in the oven, so we got you a baby gift.”
He then jokingly added, “When the child comes out, we want the child ready for battle. It is a Trojan outfit, custom-designed for the baby.”
Melvin also claimed that the gift’s so special one cannot find it in stores.

Impressed with the heartwarming gesture, an emotional Hathaway said, “This is so cute. Who is talented enough to make all of this?”
“I’m dying. This is appropriately epic. Thank you so much. This is amazing,” she added.
Tom Holland jokes he'll come to 'Today' when he becomes a dad
The mother of sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, also addressed Holland, who found the gift “cute”.
She told him, “So, Tom, when you have your child…” but before she further said anything, the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ star added, “I’ll know where to come. I’ll come right back here.”

This came days after Hathaway shared a very sweet moment with Holland, who plays her on-screen son Telemachus, as well.
The Primetime Emmy Award winner praised the 30-year-old actor during a recent eTalk interview. Hailing him, she said, “Well first off I have to say as a mom in real life…I very much hope all of my children grow up to be as wonderful as my onscreen child. Tom is like a dream son and honestly is kind of the key to it.”
